Learning How To Use A Gimbal

I have decided that I am going to film my movie opening on my iPhone using a gimbal borrowed from my dad. The gimbal will allow me to get smooth, steady slips and it will also be able to double as a phone stand for scenes where I do not need to hold the camera. 

To use the gimbal, I needed to download an app that would allow me to remotely control the angle and recording on the device. I am using a Hohem gimbal, which I found relatively easy to control and get the hang of. When I have my phone paired with the app and secured into the gimbal, I can start recording, zoom in and out, and tilt the camera at all angles. It was a quick and easy way for me to understand all the controls. Now that I have learned how to use the gimbal and gotten some practice handling it, I am ready for filming day.
