Casting

 I wanted to keep my film's cast small to reduce communication and scheduling issues. To do this, I decide to only include three actors in the opening of my movie; the main character, and two secondary characters. As I was writing I started to consider who I know that could play the three roles. I decided to reach out to two of my friends and my younger sister to see if they would be free next weekend (March 2-3) to film. Thankfully everyone confirmed.

I think the characters align well with the personalities of my friends. The main actress AnaBella, will be playing my protagonist. They are both reserved and refrain from speaking unless they actually want. Samantha and Emerson will be playing two tertiary characters, they are both more bold and outspoken.

To make sure each of the actresses fit what I was looking for, I asked them to read a small portion of the script, and they all did wonderfully! The only thing I have left to do with my actresses before we start to film is decide on wardrobe for their characters. (post coming soon!)
